The Wise Guys & Girls
The Wise Guys & Girls initiative under the Under-18 World is aimed at leveraging the experience and wisdom of senior professionals who are on a career break or in retirement. These individuals work under the guidance of Teen CXOs and assist in project execution. While they provide valuable insights and inputs, their role is primarily focused on task execution, with the freedom limited to their assigned projects. This page outlines their selection process, responsibilities, expectations, and recognition framework.

Wise Guys & Girls are selected through the following pathways:

CXO Outreach: Teen CXOs personally reach out to individuals with a strong professional reputation.

Recommendations: Under-18 elected leaders nominate individuals.

Direct Applications: Candidates apply via the Under-18 World website.
Steps in the Selection Process:

Initial contact with the Under-18 HR team, followed by a task list sent via email.

Completion of tasks leads to an online interview with HR and the relevant CXO.
-
Candidates recommended by the sacred three levels skip initial steps and go directly to the final interview.

To qualify as a Wise Guy/Girl, candidates must:

Have a minimum of 20 years of professional experience with at least 10 years in a relevant field.

Be aged 45 or above.
-
Be currently on a work break,voluntary retirement or retired.

Demonstrate patience, a strong network, and be free from bad habits like smoking or drinking for the past six months.
Exceptional Cases: Candidates who have had bad habits within the past six months may be considered for a temporary role at the discretion of the CXOs, provided they commit to remaining sober and demonstrate a desire for long-term change.

Weekly Update Call: A compulsory call each week to discuss targets and updates. Each week is treated like a sprint with clear deliverables.

WhatsApp Updates: Progress updates every two days, or as required by the team.

Wise Guys & Girls are assigned to domains based on their expertise.

Their primary focus is project execution, but they may also provide input on planning and strategy.

Projects are typically operational in nature, but strategic tasks may be assigned based on the project needs.

Their freedom is restricted to the assigned project. They collaborate with Teen CXOs to ensure the success of the project.

Inputs and suggestions for other projects or overall strategy are heard during a monthly meeting, ensuring that final decisions rest with the designated teen leaders.

Wise Guys & Girls are onboarded for a term of 3 months, 6 months, or 12 months, based on the interview process and their own preferences.

They may also suggest specific projects or timelines that align with their expertise and availability.

Task execution is their primary role, taking on challenging assignments such as securing appointments with government officials, partnerships with corporations, or overseeing key projects.

They must keep Teen CXOs and relevant Under-18s informed about all steps in the process, ensuring the young leaders learn and benefit from the experience.

All connections and processes are documented and stored in the central repository for future use by the Under-18 World.

Examples of responsibilities : Establish partnership with Google office in Banglore for Under18s to visit the campus and have conversation with the experts (3 times a year). Partnership with JBL company to provide their products at 15% less price to our Under18 community where they get free promotions within our community while the Under18 world get discount and compensation. Planning and setting up a meet of Home minister of a state with Home Minister of the Under18 world regarding certain bills. etc.

Wise Guys & Girls follow a hierarchy similar to Under-18 citizens, progressing from Wise Citizen to Wise Champion and potentially to Wise Superstar.
