DISEC

DISEC is dedicated to addressing issues related to global disarmament, arms control, and international security to ensure a peaceful and stable world.

The Disarmament and International Security Committee (DISEC) focuses on some of the most critical challenges to global peace and stability. This committee deals with issues such as arms control, the proliferation of nuclear weapons, and the threat of terrorism, aiming to foster international security through diplomatic means. Delegates in DISEC will work on negotiating resolutions that address the causes of conflict, reduce global arms stockpiles, and find ways to prevent violent extremism. Through active participation in debates, speeches, and negotiations, delegates will have the chance to shape policies aimed at securing a safer world. It is a committee for those interested in the complexities of international security and global peacekeeping.
